O gauge Auto Carriers car size

Hey guys I bought a few of these enclosed auto carriers in O gauge and they felt a little light to me so I thought about putting cars inside them to help with the weight.  The only issue is when I bought some 1/43 scale cars to put inside they didn't fit.

What size cars do I need in order to put them inside the rolling stock?  If I can't find any I guess I will just have to put some lead weight in them.  Thanks

HO scale Steam Engine Connecting Rod Repair

Hello-

Have an HO scale Proto 2000 Heritage 2-8-8-2 that has a connecting rod that fell apart. Can't find the little rivet that held it together. Any suggestions on how to repair the connecting rod?

Old Walthers kits

Hello there I was wonder what size wheels do I need for the old walthers kits that mostly oil tankers. Do I use 33" or 36" wheels?

Another Resin Kit

I had seen Circa's post on building his first resin kit, so I thought I'd throw mine in the mix......

I'm building a Funaro & Camerlengo PRR F29 depressed center flat car. After looking to see what was out there for a d c flat car to fit my era, I thought I'd try this F&C car. I hadn't built a resin kit before,  how hard can it be? OK, not THAT hard. De-flashing every single part is tedious, but with that done, on to assembly.

42" inch wheels, anyone ?

Does anyone recognize these apparently steel wheels?

They  appear to have a brass plate coating and they are insulated. I didn't use a micrometer, but they look roughly equivalent to approx. 42"

I know of nothing except maybe a locomotive that ride on 42" wheels. I was kinda wondering what I might be able to do with them? They are true and run smoothly. A little paint and some weathering and other than brass colored treads, they might look good?

My first resin freight car kit

I started my first resin freight car kit a little while ago.  It's a Funaro & Camerlengo Canadian National 8 hatch Reefer. Below are some photos of my slow progress.
