Scenery and structures
Laser Cut Parts
Hi folks, I am currently working on the drawings of the C&O Bridge at Hawks Nest WV. With the intent to build this bridge for my layout (I model the C&O from Hawks Nest to Hinton).

New Signage Technics
Hello All, it's my first post!!
First I want to say that the people here are really great, and I have been submersed in the info that has been so widely shared!! Thanks everyone!
I just wanted to show the results I got, by using a new method. At least to me it was!
I'm talking about putting signs on the sides of buildings!
I printed them, in (HP)Best quality, on Patch Paper! Then I used a new blade, to cut out the logos.
static grass applicator electricals
Great discussion on home made static grass applicators BUT, how do I go about making the electrical charge? There are several references to 9v and 12v applicators but no actual description of building the electrical part.
Anyone got a good description of the electronics?
Cheers, Adrian

Concrete (Cement) Paint Color
I am trying to come up with a paint formula (mixture) for the concrete window sill on my HO structures. Several of my friends have suggested varies shades of gray, but when I observe the buildings in my town they are more of a beigh/yellow color. Has anyone come up a a realistic color formula (mixture) that look ethnic and and not model like.
Thanks
Depot progress (finally)
I'm embarrassed to say that it's been over 3 months since I last worked on my layout. Amazing how real life can get in the way.
Today I decided to hide away from the world and spent the afternoon in the basement. Felt good to get something accomplished. My depot is finally starting to look like a depot!

Cinder Floor.
Good Evening,
I'm having a bit of a conundrum here and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for or need on my own.

Walthers modern fire escape and none Walthers buildings
I have the Walthers modern fire escape to be added to a DMP module building. The instructions say "on non-modular structures you may need to adjust the height."
I am guessing "the height" is the distance between windows vertically which will effect the length of the stair way.
Am I thinking correctly? Did you have a problem spacing from the top story to the ones below?
Thanks in advance,

agrichemical business pictures
So,
I had this great idea... The trouble is finding pictures of the prototype... Any help is appreciated.
Regarding Agrichemicals, it seems like there might be a co-op or similar rail customer that would have both propane for grain driers, home fuels, etc. as well as anhydrous ammonia. Even if they are separate spurs, they could be close to each other, couldn't they?
Twisted-Wire Oak Trees
So I finally figured out how to use my iPhone & iMovie, so I've posted a three-part step-by-step video series on how to make the N scale twisted-wire oak trees to my YouTube Channel.
[sorry the first one's not in HD: casualty of the learning process]

What's in a structure kit
A couple of years ago, I asked a question: What's in a kit. We took a look at rolling stock and locos.
http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/1984
I thought it would be a good idea to see what is in some of the different types of structure kits. I know that I don't like surprises when I open the box. But, of course, things we wouldn't choose end up being very satisfying when we tackle them and and have a successful conclusion.
So, how about some examples:
