Track and electrical/DCC

Dead rail vs frog juicer
I'm a complete novice at DCC. I found this diagram on one of the DCC sites (and I've forgotten which so I can't give credit, sorry).
Flex Track Preparation
What's the state of the art in preparation of flex track for realistic appearance? I'm thinking spray track grey or brown, then detail paint individual sleepers/ties. Then lay track and paint rail (rail brown) with a paint pen then further weathering.
Is there a good guide in a mag or online?

Berrett Hill Touch Toggles and Arduino for Servo Control
Hi. I have read Peter's (pierre52) Servos 101 and Geoff Bunza's Modeller's Introduction to the Arduino. I need some guidance on how to proceed. My layout will have 10-15 turnouts. I would like to control them with servos driven by an Arduino. I would also like to use Berrett Hill Touch Toggles to do the switching. But what hardware do I need to make this all happen?
I'll keep this initial post short, and provide details in the next post.
Big time DCC novice
This is my inglenook before it was scenicked.
It was relegated to display purposes about two years ago,
but now I want to set it up to be wired for DCC. It has a Peco Code 83 Left Hand Turnout insulfrog and a Peco Code 83 Right Hand Turnout electrofrog.
Which Decoder is this?
I am hoping someone can identify this decoder for me please?
Steve
