Is there another source for card edge connectors to be used on the Tortoise switch machines? Oher than Walthers? Any electrical/electronic stores or suppliers?

Walthers Mainline SD70ACE ditch lights

Hello everyone, I am in need of some help. I model a contemporary CSX line in HO scale. I got a Walthers Mainline SD70ACE with ESU sound and DCC recently. The ditch lights are sort of dim, but that's not an uncommon problem according to what I've read. That is not the problem though. I do not really understand CVs yet. I am a DCC beginner, and I have an NCE power cab, an NCE USB interface, and JMRI on my computer. I understand how to change CVs but do not understand them very well. I want to make the ditch lights flash when the horn is sounded.

How to connect electrical wires between modules

Hello
I am planning a new modular layout, and wants to hear what system you use to connect the needed electrical contacts other than tracks from one module to the next.

Each module is a framed layout top, just like a drawer turned upside-down.

It does not matter here, but this is HO scale.

Peco makes a code 100 double slip switch (SL90). Which of the streamline code 100 turnouts does it match up to? Code 100 turnouts come in small, medium and large? Which matches it? TIA

I got a box of switch machines today. Most of them are Atlas of Lifelike. There are a few I do not recognize.

Can anyone tell me what brand they are?

These have some sort of interesting circuit board. I wonder if it has a relay integrated in the machine or if it is just another connection point for the L and R throws?

Atlas Turnouts and the frog

Is there a way to improve Atlas Custom Line turnouts at the frog? My 4 axle road units dont have a problem but my short wheelbase SW1200 keeps stalling right on the frog. Seems there has to be a way to fix that, short of buying electrofrog turnouts.

Suggestions? Ideas?
