Large O-gauge turntables
What commercial turntables are available to handle large O-gauge engines (33 inches long)?
US Source for Peco Tracksetta Track Alignment Guides
Does anyone know of a US source of the Peco Tracksetta track alignment tools/guides? The only sources that I've seen are in the UK. Maybe I've not searched in the right places on-line.
Thanks for your help,

BussBar system foir under layout wiring
I have never used the bussbar system on my layout. I am starting a new one and am wondering what gage wire do you use? How do you set it up? What goes where and how do you attach the wires to the track? Solder? Clips.
Is there a document that goes through all this or can I get help ffrom those who have done it and worked thru the many pitfalls I see comming?
Thanks Ken

DC vs. single crossover
My layout wiring will be simple DC not DCC. When using a single crossover turnouts do gaps still need to be cut, or can trains pass by the crossover on each track without problems?

Programming CV29 Help
I finally got enough track laid to properly test my one and so far only DCC equipped loco.
I discovered that the engine speed did not correspond to the speed of the loco... Prime mover would idle through speed step 4. By the time the sound changed, I was out of track.

Reverse loop - where to put insulators
I'm hopefully going to be putting the reverse loops into one side of the layout in the next couple weeks and thought I should ask the question - where is it best to put the insulators? I planned to put them immediately after each turnout and isolate the entire loop, but is this recommended or as long as I have plenty of track for the locos to be entirely within the isolated area all that is important? I assume the latter, but can a reversing section be too long as well?
Adding sound to Athearn CF7
I've begun planning my first layout, and I'm strongly considering getting an Athearn HO scale CF7 to run on it. (I want to model the Los Angeles Junction Railway.) However, after a recent layout tour, I'm completely sold on having sound in all my locos. So I'm hoping that somebody can recommend a sound decoder that works well and will fit inside the CF7. Thanks for any help.
MANUAL TURNOUT CONTROLS
Ok,
I'll say this upfront. This is another one of those data mining threads!!
Need some ideas on deciding what type of controls I want to use for my manual turnouts. Scale is HO (not sure if that matters at all), but the idea is to maintain as pure and realistic a scene as possible, but still get the feel of bending steel and operating a switch vice pushing a button, etc. I am hoping to get some of your real world applications on your layouts, and PICTURES would be most helpful!

Your input please - colors for trackage on control panels
I'm finally going to build some control panels to be mounted on my fascia to control my turnouts. I'm wondering if there is any "standard" colors to use for the routes: i.e. Mainline = green, Sidings = Yellow, etc... Since I am going to have a green LED indicating "Main" I was thinking about using green to indicate the main.

Frog Juicer vs. OnGuard! OG-AR for reversing?
Being in the market (eventually) for another auto-reverse module, I got to looking around. I'm looking closely at two products in particular, and would like to hear from those who have used each, to compare.
One is the Dual Frog Juicer (yech!) at http://www.tamvalleydepot.com/products/dccpowerfrogjuicers.html for $29.95
