what decoder to use
I am looking for a N.scale sound decoder for a rs2 or3. I am kinda tied in to the rs (i just like them and they fit my period and place). I have not purchased the loco or the decoder yet. I do have non sound dcc kato and atlas rs2,3.What I did was purchase a nce power cab and I want to at least have one loco using sound.
Any ideas?

Help Wiring BLMA BLock Signals to Tortoise for Switch

I am installing a signal-controlled powered switch to my otherwise dark territory layout. I have a Digitrax DCC system and currently have the switch powered to operate with a Tortoise switch machine using a DPDT rotary 2-position switch running on a DC 12-volt transformer.
Identify a decoder
the package. I'm sure I knew what it was for at the time but not now. I
sort of remember there was a CV that told you the model decoder it is but
can't find any info on it, Any Help appreciated!!

LED needs more power than decoder provides....

I am still tinkering with that ole MRC0001820 decoder... It is resistored on the board to facilitate the use of 1.5 volt bulbs. Unfortunately, the 5mm LEDs I am using for the main lighting require at least 2 volts to operate. In other words, they will not light up. No, there is no resistor that I can easily de-solder from the decoder board. So, if I want to use these LEDs, how do I power them?
Programming CV2 on QSI Sound Decoder
Hi,
I just bought a used Proto 2000 with a QSI decoder. Initial runs of the loco were very jerky at low speeds so I began adjusting CV2 upward. I now have CV2 set at 95 and the loco is running much better, but there is still a bit of hesitation when starting. Do I continue to increase CV2 or is there another CV that I should be tweaking?

3 Signals & DCC Specialtie's Hare
I'm trying to hookup 3 LEDs to a Hare from DCC Specialties. When 2 are hooked up in series they work fine add a third and they all go really dim. The LEDs are hooked up to the 6-7 & 8 terminals on the hare.

Reverse Loop Help with Proposed Staging Yard Design
I am working on the design of a staging yard for my N scale Indiana Railroad West End Division layout and need some help determining the best way to do it. The attached drawing does not have all of the yard tracks, but only the few that I think are needed to illustrate the question(s).
Help wiring digitrax Devices to layout
I'm working on my wiring plan, i know some basics but need help on most stuff...
what i want is to have the layout run on 2 modes, semi automatic and full automatic with computer...most of the devices will be digitrax...if someone have experience with them i'm looking for help...there is my plan and the devices i want to use.
The AR1(i'll need two of them) is there because i want to have short protection on the two reversing section i have.
how to transcribe my plan from software to benchwork
that's my question basically...I've 3rd planIt software, if i use the 1:1 printing option to put all the plan on paper...how can I use that on the benchwork?
any ideas welcome
