Infinite Track System Video
Hi,
The video looks great, thanks for including us with such good company!
One thing I overlooked when talking about our new Infinite Track System PlatForms is that the turnout shapes will also be available for most commercial brands of track, so it will not be necessary to use only our tools for track construction.
We are still on track for release August 15!
BTW, Joe, is there a spell checker option for the forum software? The FireFox version doesn't seem to work in this editor. (or the one on Model Railroaders forum)
Cheers!

Welcome, Tim!
Tim:
Welcome to the MRH site!
We're happy to include your video from the Train Show ... you guys are really thinking outside the box and doing innovative things when it comes to trackwork - and you service all scales! I think modelers want to know what you're up to, so we wanted to make sure and get your video up on MRH Theater ASAP!
As to spell checking, this site's WYSIWYG editor includes a nice open source spell checker, but it takes some server side configuration to get it all working. I just haven't got to it yet, but I hope to get to it soon!
Also, thanks for agreeing to do a regular trackwork column in MRH magazine. I think modelers will benefit greatly from your words of wisdom regarding trackwork. As we know, trackwork can make or break your layout satisfaction and how well it performs, so anything we can do to get people on the right path to reliable trackwork is effort well spent.

Great to hear there will be turnout shapes to match other commercial turnout products. Thanks Tim!
BTW, I am a satisfied Fast Tracks customer. Now if I could find the time to lay more track!

Awesome work, nice to hear about more Fast Tracks stuff. Though when he leans away from the microphone, it got harder to hear him.

Mike handling
Unfortunately, that will be a problem that recurrs several times. We did learn not to give the mike to the interviewee, although in one case I think he pretty much grabbed it from me.
There were a few that insisted on moving around, making it difficult to follow them with the mike as well.
It's definitely a learning experience.

We also have a few cases of more ambient noise than I would have liked.
Whenever you do live unrehearsed field recording, you get glitches.
To deal with the instances where the ambient noise gets in the way, I will be adding subtitles. That way the interview content stays highly informative, even if the recording had some issues.
