Cribbing

You cannot have enough cribbing on your layout, around tunnels bridge abutments holding back the mountainside. At Bingham they used everything for cribbing.

BLMA Searchlight Signals...

I needed to add another double head dwarf signal to the exit of Shippensburg Yard today and went hunting for a Tomar housing, instead I found a NJ International cantilevered signal bridge that I made up, but hadn’t used, along with some BLMA single head - searchlight signals.

46 | Building Jumper Cables To Wire My T-Trak Modules

In today’s video, we are inching a bit closer to being able to run trains. I built the 8 jumpers that will connect the t-trak modules to the Block Detection Device. At the end of the video I setup the 8 t-trak modules to visual the current progress.

A Place....

First operations over the The Hill deemed a success.  No derailments on the new trackage.  Two fellows made the trip more than once.  I will be rebuilding Dave's Siding/Cookieville.  Not well done.

Due to the death of my younger brother...

I have been unable to post, generate, or even read the articles, and forums. I am in dire need to move on from my loss, and try to continue on as best as I can. So without further problems coming my way, I will give an article about making your own, scale, brass signals. I have taken a break from the control options, as I am trying to recover from the monetary setback, of helping get my brothers personal things taken care of, and then set the family back on course.

The Management of Modeling Fatigue

I was pleasantly surprised with a trip home today when my dad told my wife he had peaches on the peach trees, and her bubbly personality meant there was simply no way I could say No.  If there's on thing she enjoys most, it's harvesting anything and everything from field and tree, and I do like white peaches myself.  This also meant I would be in the same neighborhood s that old Churn Well Drilling rig that I started modeling a couple months back.

WM 304 old Life Like Proto 2000 FA2 DCC install

The following Blog will be my attempt at upgrading a Life Like Proto 2000 FA2 from DC to DCC.  Got this off Ebay for a pretty good price.  Didn't do my research before bidding and realized that it was an older version that is not DCC ready.  So I will attempt to make it a DCC locomotive.  Enjoy.

Constructive criticism is welcome.
