FWWR, Everman Branch Job

Been a lurker her for a while and decided to post my layout here. The FWWR is a small short-line here in the N. Texas are based out of the DFW area. It interchanges with the BNSF, UP and KCS. The area that i have decided to model is a large industrial park that the railroad serves. Since I want to be able to learn operations and really like this railroad this area really appeals to me.

Prototype vs. Freelance

Welcome to Cripple Creek. This is a town that was described in an HO layout you can build, but by the time I finished my 4 x 8 I had discovered Digitrax DCC and a few other things. Like shelf layouts. So my 4 x 8 became a 2   x 16 with a lot more room to grow in the same space as my old 4 x 8. While I can't run in circles I do have the opportunity to switch out industries and a train station in Cripple Creek. The Town of Cripple Creek is home to 4 rail serviced industries including:

My railway club has given members a challenge to build a railway in 300square inches in time for our annual exhibition in November. I've been chronicling progress on my blog
