False Front Building Kit Part 1

I had previously posted on a kit project I was going to build, but was side tracked on my display shelf, so now back to the false front kit. To refresh you all the kit is a Bar Mills kit called "Witzingers Washboard Co.". I plan on calling it something else though.

After a couple of reads through the instructions, I think we're ready to dive in. The first section will be the building on the left, shown in the box cover pic here.

Cement Distributor...

Today I finished up adding the base colour coats by airbrush to the structures at the end of the L&T Branch.  The cement distributor has also had a little addition added.

The Great Great Northern Railway

Don Bozman's HO gauge model railroad. Unique location in the house and unique front door entrance.

A Memorial Day weekend!

Hope everyone enjoys the photos as I did creating the scene, and photographing them! Enjoy!

Portable O-scale Layout (aka "Chicago Fork")

I have recently purchased an Atlas O-scale SW9 (2-rail); which (assuming it survives the overseas shipment) should be at my door in 3 weeks or so.  O-scale has always been my scale of choice; however, until recently obtaining equipment has been a show stopper.  Now that it seems I have the motive power on its way, it is time to plan a little layout for it.

More Lost Trains - CP, BNSF, and UP motive power on the BNML, CN Letellier Sub

I found an interesting sight today on the Letellier sub...

CP 8831 leading BNSF 9016 and UP 5575 into the inland terminal at Letellier MB with a BNSF Unit Grain train.

They dropped the train in Letellier and continued light, northbound.

Here they are just heading into Winnipeg. (The CP unit is in the lead.)
