Tanks were made from Evergreen styrene. Cylindrical steam dome is styrene tubing. Coal bunker at rear is a bit of the small side.

Yes, it's been quiet around here. Summer included a lot of travel -- since the beginning of August we've been away more than we've been home -- and not a whole lot got done in the basement.

Currently in the process of re-motoring a NEW ho Athearn RTR BNSF Dash 9-44CW, i have Genesis HEX flywheels on a kato motor. any tips with re-motoring a locomotive?, at the moment it is still a little noisy. Is there any special way to attach the flywheels onto the motor shaft? or is it pretty self explanatory.
