Detroit Windsor Connecting Railroad Virtual Video Tour

Hello Everyone, here is a video tour of The Detroit Windsor Connecting Railroad.  I have been working on this layout for a few years now.   The layout is in my basement approximately 24 by 30 feet.  It is 1/29th scale G gauge.  Take a look and I'll be posting more specifics in future about the different areas I am working on.

Primer Question

Hi folks,

I have three unpainted ballast cars from Bowser, should I hit them with primer before I paint them with Vallejo Model Air??

Thanks, Scott

Athearn Primed for Grime weathering contest. My entry and methods.

Athearn sponsored a weathering contest recently and I wanted to try out my techniques with a PFG boxcar. I always thought that their PFG series is a great idea. This was fun and they offered some nice prizes.

TUTORIAL - How I made cabinets and backdrops for my benchwork

Hello Model Railroaders!

I finally got the second part of my Ultimate Benchwork Build tutorial uploaded to YouTube! I show my process and techniques on how I put up my backdrops and how I create cabinets for under the benchwork! Let me know what you think -- I also put a few "bloopers" in the video so you can see not everything is "sunshine and roses" when recording a video!  Let me know what you think about the techniques.  I hope you all are doing well

Andy
