Upgrading East River Coal & Lbr. Co.
I had 4 days off work for the 4th of July. So along with working on up grading my operating paper work (This will be a different post or maybe a article). I did some up up grading on the East River Coal & Lumber Co. in the town of Green Bay, WI. Mostly I added sand and gravel to the parking/loading area and additional weeds/bushes etc. See the before and after pictures below.

Panel Rewire of blocks and points
We have embarked on a rewiring of the entire layout that has 12 separate blocks. It has been in place for over 20+ years at the Western Districts Model Railway Club.
The main reason is we want to declutter the panels so that we could see what we are doing and move closer to DCC control.

Arduino DC wireless dc train controller using a pair of NRF24L01
I am after a way to get wireless Arduino remote train controls. I am looking at using an NRF24l01 with two Arduino mini. Now the WDMRC has 12 sections (2-3 years away from complete rewire to have DCC ) these are an interim solution.

Updating scenery on the EK Sub.
I have been updating scenery and track work on my EK subdivision. This is the front area of my scrap yard. After 7 years, updating was necessary. Static grass wa snot used originally, but does seem to add a lot. And yes, since I model the 90's..that old truck needs some rust !!
Unveiling the working ProtoThrottle
