Enginehouse completed
Work on the engine house structure is complete. A Pikestuff enginehouse and a showroom kit were combined to form the structure.
Sand Tower
Finally making progress... I finished the diesel sand tower from Walthers Kit #933-3182 and the concrete fueling pad for the tower and the rest of the locomotive servicing equipment (working on those now). The weathering on the sand tower was done using the techniques learned in the "Weathering Like a Pro" two part video series done by Mike Confalone, if you don't own them I would highly recommend you do so. Overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.

My contest entry in the RTNT Down & Dirty Weathering contest #2
Hey everybody.
I took some time off of the Marshline this week to enter a YouTube weathering contest through the Ron's Trains N Things YouTube channel. I let my channel viewers pick which car I would enter and they chose a Walthers 40' Tank Car. I had never weathered a tank car before, so I knew that this would be an adventure.

Routes and DS64's
Guys,
I've been working on the layout doing wiring. I've installed 12 Tortoises to handle the switch's in staging and now getting ready to organize things and having trouble wrapping my head around routes and cascading routes. Can anybody simplify how to do it, I've looked at the Digitrax site and read the article KB394 and all it did was confuse me more. Can anybody simplify things for me?
