I am working on turning a K-Line Golden State Limmited end car (Golden Divan) into an executive car for my railroad. The main modifying will be making an end platform, and giving it a new interior. Also, the end light will be adjusted. Enjoy!

Sadly, my layout has been fussy. There's a small grade on it that the trains can't cope with, and nothing seems to make it past 5-6 laps before something goes wrong! I am faced with only one choice: tear down the roadbed and start over! Here are some final pictures of the half built mess, before I get down to it:

Fir those of you who read my "gang car to steeple cab" forum may have noted I planned to undertake more trolleys using similar techniques. Well, this place is where I'll be writing that. Here is a video of a video I took yesterday of Mass Central 1751 heading back from the mill in south barre. As you can see, the weather was really looking fresh and thawed, and the sun was shining, and the sky was blue! :D I think this road would make a great model railway. It is only about 20-30 miles, owns four locos, and train lengths never exceed 20 cars! Usually, less then ten, i think. Note there us an abandoned boxcar a couple yards beyond the pie of ties. I would love to check it out someday, but there is a NO TRESPASSING sign, and the area is fairly populated.

Since I am both a 14 year old and a railway enthusiast, I thought I would take the time to mention how I get around having an 'obsolete' interest, and live a teenage life. 

I have finally got around to working on my layout again. Here is the new segment of my layout's road bed. Also, I have solved the problem of my lionel cars that are equipped with electro couplers. Since I inherited these ones, I wanted to respect them and not modify the cads in any way. I also inherited their magazine and catalouge collection, in which was a vintage Great Model Railroads MR special.

They happen...      This one just took place. Bother! I have to secure that roadbed!
