Grain Elevator! Is this OK?

Hi all.

I have been a bit quiet this last few days / months because a I am in the process of purchasing a new house.

Inspired by Tom Johnson INRAIL layout and work, i have started so scratchbuild and kit bash a grain elevator for my small Duarteville switching layout,

Evergreen was the main material that's being used.

More work done at Duarteville & Indiana RR

I have been busy laying track and making the wiring. While the 2nd isn't a pretty sight, the 1st one is more appealing.

So, I am using MicroEngineering code 70 track, and the plan I decided to stick with a version of Palmetto Spur from Lance Mindheim. While Lance makes the fiddle yard not part of the layout (on right), I will make it a part of the layout, just add scenery. I don't know if I will make a bridge, or some warehouses not rail served.

Benchwork complete!

Hi all.

Not much done these last days. Just placed 3cm foam on top of my benchwork, using Liquid Nails. This is ideal for me, because this way, I can make some depressions on the surface easily. The ground isn't  flat, so we must try to represent these irregularities. For this I use foam, as I have done in the past.

Athearn Blue Box F7

Hi all.

I have received an Athearn Blue Box F7, in a dreadful white livery. This one is also going to be stripped, and receive a new coat of paint. While is done, I installed a Loksound on the thing, and made some costum LED head lights and mars light.

Check out the video below.

Track plan update

Hi all.

I have been playing with SCARM, doing some changes to the track plan.

This is what I came up with:

Starting a new H0 layout!!

Hi all.

I scrapped the previous layout and started again.

Made some progress

on my layout.

Started to fiddle a bit with scenery.

Now is the part that the layout starts to be really ugly, because it has the blue from the foam, and the brown from the cork, and garbage left all over the place.

The little blue Renault Clio next to the warehouse was not meant to be there...

Help on track plan design

Hi friends.

I am in the process of redesigning my layout. I need to use the most of the track work I already done, and tranform it to the american scene.

So, here is some info:

Layout: 140 x 80 cm
Scale: N scale
Track: Peco cod 55 (it is easier to get here in Portugal)

Most of the track is down, but I need to do some changes.

This is how the track is at the moment:
