I have two months to get it done becase there will be a show on the 19th and 20th in Santarém, a town noth to Lisbon.

So I have been a bit quiet, because I had a hard time at work the last months (I work in a model train shop in Lisbon, and Christmas is that time of the year that we have a looot of costumers to please...)

Nevertheless, I am building a small display layout, in N scale (as stated in previous blog entries), with MRL rolling stock. I asked my father to help me on building a show case.

Well, that just happened... The show is almost completed, and them I can take it back to my place, and start working on the scenery.

I have been scratch building some sort of a feed mill, based on Tom Johnson's INRAIL one(with his permission, of course).

There's still much to be done, but things are going the way I want to.

Yesterday was a day for modelling.

Finished tracklaying, after sanding the cork roadbed, made the wiring and connect a ROCO Multimaus to run some trains!

Wife enjoyed it, but me and my kid(he is only 15 months old, but the sound and lights made him laugh ) enjoyed even more.

I am going to start a layout. I think that is going to be the "one".

I asked for your help to plan a small freight yard, to serve just as staging yard. Well, I was over thinking about it. I opened SCARM and made a buck of trackplans, and all of the looked awful. Then, after reading Mike Confalone Allagash Story Vol1. I decided that should take an approach just like Mike does.

I really need some help, please. last time I tried to build a US layout, it was in H0, and things where going nice, until I started to do more than I could.

I had to scrap the layout, because I moved to a new place, in Feb of this year.
