Taking some time for Railfanning

http://joshuadewolfe.wordpress.com/2014/07/05/taking-the-time-for-sightseeing/

If you are ever in the area, I would recommend checking out Point of Rocks, Md. I have seen many a model of it, and have often drove by, but finally, on a trip today, took some time to visit with my family. Enjoy the pictures!

Downsizing Your Hobby

Is bigger always better? Or is less more? Should you go big or go home?

When it comes to our hobbies, how much is too much? Join me as I discuss this pressing question here: http://joshuadewolfe.wordpress.com/2014/07/04/downsize-your-hobby-the-case-for-the-small-and-micro/

ALL ABOARD! Take your love of trains to another realm!

I think it would be a reasonable assumption that we like trains, and railroads... after all, you are reading this post on MRH's website, are you not? So by default, it would not be unreasonable to imply that indeed we all do like/appreciate/love railroading in some form or another.

Now I would also wager a guess you are like me, and enjoy other activities/hobbies etc beyond trains.Maybe gardening, woodworking, restoring old cars, golfing, etc. Maybe even some of you enjoy board games like I do.

Small Ideas in a Small Space

I have been working on my small layout for the past couple months. This post details some of my design rationale, and some of the little steps that go into making that vision a reality. Check it out, and let me know what you think!

Norfolk Southern GE 70-Ton Loco (A Cheapskate kit-bash)

I really enjoyed the article in this month's MRH (October) on modeling a NS GE 70-tonner. I own a model of that loco from Bachmann, and it got me to thinking about some work I could do on it. Up to that point, it was detailed and painted for my freelance RR, but I have been wanting to find an obscure, short line prototype railroad to model.

Welcome to the Ozark Belt Terminal Railway!

Greetings!

After stalking everyone else's work on here, I figured it was time I contributed as well!
