January 13th, 2009 -
At 1:48 pm Pacific Time today, Model Railroad Hobbyist passed 10,000 downloads!

With the completely free to readers and advertiser-supported business model, these early circulation results bodes well for the future.

Since back issues always remain available for FREE download, the audience for Model Railroad Hobbyist should grow year after year.

Issue 1 is here!

Issue 1 is here! (And along with it, some growing pains!) - Click to download issue 1. We're delighted to
announce that
Issue 1 of the Model
Railroad Hobbyist magazine is finally available!

Demand has outstripped all expectations and we're experiencing huge server loads. As a result, we've altered our home page to redirect to a download page for issue 1, and throttled our current MRH web site until we can move to a larger server.

To handle the new load, we're moving the MRH web site to a much larger dedicated server the week of January 12th.

While we don't like to see web server issues, growing pains like this bode well for our goal of being the most popular model railroading mediaZine on the planet!

NOTE: During the week of January 12th, expect the MRH web site to be intermittent as we move to a new, larger dedicated host!

Athearn buys T55 Tooling
