Prototype information
Lumber: Its Manufacture and Distribution - Ralph Clement Bryant (free book)
I'm investigating logging subjects to help with developing a logging scene on my new layout. I ran across this book source that goes WAY BEYOND the info I need, but it is a very significant resource.
....a very comprehensive book about Timber,...and its a free download

Where would this be delivered?
Where would a transformer this size be delivered? I'm wondering if it would be appropriate for a university sized power plant, approximately 20,000 students. What sort of capacity is it? Would it actually go to a power plant or just a sub-station?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Paul

What year is this bus?
I got this little bus years ago, but don't know what year it is.
Mid fifties?
It's supposed to be fun!
Re: black, shiny, etc. Model railroading is what you want it to be. I can't control my actual world but I have complete control over my RR. If want toI put a DeLorean in my 1880s layout, I just say "Back to the Future". You can have your black shiny and I can have my grungy gritty. "God Bless Us Everyone!" The Buckbrush Kid

Odd decal

Southern Pacific in Oregon
Folks,
A friend of mine who grew up in southern Oregon mentioned he can't seem to find many photos of the Southern Pacific in southern Oregon during the 1930s up to about 1955.
He is not talking about locomotive or roster type photos, Rather, he is looking for photos of yards, stations, industries, rail-scenes along the right of way in that area, etc.
I told him I would ask the question to the immensely knowledgeable crew here on the MRH Forum.
Can anybody point me/him to a source? Books, magazine issues, or on-line.
