The Management of Modeling Fatigue

I was pleasantly surprised with a trip home today when my dad told my wife he had peaches on the peach trees, and her bubbly personality meant there was simply no way I could say No.  If there's on thing she enjoys most, it's harvesting anything and everything from field and tree, and I do like white peaches myself.  This also meant I would be in the same neighborhood s that old Churn Well Drilling rig that I started modeling a couple months back.

Getting Started in 3D printing: Part 4.

After being out of town for a few days and having thought over my options for 3D printers, I've finally got a printer in the mail and should be delivered any day now.  That printer is the Creality3D Ender 3 V2.  It's the best printer that seems to meet my requirements and offers a balanced set of features that will be useful for printing a variety of different objects, at least on paper.

End of Summer layout update

Summer is two thirds done, and traditional summer ends in a week. Through this pandemic I have been working regular hours at the gold mine I work at. Vacation was staycation this year so no new adventures to model railroads, new hobby shops or railway museums. Lots of virtual participation and online hobby shop purchases.

Getting Started in 3D printing: Part 2.

Due to the length of the post on my website, I'm not going to replicate the entire list of 3D printers on this blog.  Not only is that unnecessary, but the post has over 3000 words on it and nobody wants to read through something of that length all at once, especially on a website like MRH where there's a lot of new things to check in on every day.  So rather than replicate the entire post, I'm instead going to do a quick summary.  The full original post on my website can be found
