Continuous or "Spot" layout completion?

I've been working on scenery on my Richlawn RR V2 and got to thinking about what method I want to use moving forward. My choices are to complete an area and move along completing as I go or complete a "spot", or small area and then skip an area and work on the next "spot". As an example I would complete the Palmer Asbestos area, move about five feet away and work on the team track area, then skip about 8 feet and work on the warehouse area.

Cleveland 2014 - Thursday, Day 5 - Setup for the Train Show

This year's train show was a bit interesting, in that most years the Train Show is held in a building without any ground floor windows, and often in a separate building from the convention (Portland will be this way).

But in Cleveland the convention area faced the show hall through floor to ceiling windows - and there were even viewpoints from above into the show hall. Everyone got to see pretty much everything they wanted to.

So I'm going to show it to you - (starting with the first comment)

Single Stall Engine House Part 10

So this weekend I did the roofing, was a bit tedious, but in the end it came out good and I’m pleased so far.

First image is a sheet of corrugated roofing marked out with an ultra fine sharpie. the point of the sharpie fits well in the grooves. If you find your cut point ends up on a hump instead of a groove, flip it over and you’ll be in the groove. No pun intended. Lol
