Symphony 77 Sound Station

I am looking at purchasing a MRC Symphony 77 sound station has anybody have one and uses it. The

local hobby shop does not have them in stock so I can hear how it sounds. I was wondering if anybody

out there has one and can tell me a little bit about it or maybe I can hear it on a short video.

Clearance markers in the past

Reading another post about modern clearance markers (is that the correct term for the little pole indicating the fouling point at turnouts?), this question arose:

I'd like to use some kind of markers like this to help operators on my 1950's PRR layout. Did the prototype use such, and what did they look like?

Weathering Clinic Using PanPastel Artists Pastels

Rob Manley gave an entertaining and riviting clinic at the Naperville RPM this afternoon regarding the use of PanPastel atrists painting pastels as a weathering medium.  Appears the product is better than weathering chalks, with excellent adhesion and control qualities.  Understand PanPastel will be creating weathering kits targeted to the model community soon.

Video greetings from the Netherlands.

Hallo together,

the European FREMO celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Dutch division last weekend in Zuidbroek, the Netherlands. Some picture galleries are available here. Yes, the European H0 layout was rather great: 4000 feet of modules (new record ;-) ).

You prefer N scale and Northamerican prototype? What about a flyover along the americaN layout?

What kind of airbrush do you use???

I have (had??) a Badger single-actiion, external mix airbrush I bought a Micheals years ago.  It has been in my painter's tool box, and hasn't been used for some time.

Microscale High Gloss

Has anyone used the Microscale product "Micro Gloss" to prepare models for decals?  I would be interested in the results and any comments.
