MR Pricing................??

Just received the May MR and pulled the address label off (I have NO idea why I always do that!) and see the price is $5.99.  Huh, I thought it went up to $7.99?  Now I'm all confused-I hate that!

that's something classic... 4'x8' in N scale

Hi to all,

first, I beg your pardon... english (or american english...) is not my native language!

Second, I've now ended the trackwork for a layout I'm building... Yes, it's the classic and conventional 4'x8' (ok, it is, 1,25 x 2,50 m if someone is reading the post from my side of the Atlantic!).

Here is the test train travelling on the layout.

Lets talk about On30

I know that this is a bunch of questions, but I hope to open up a discussion here.  I have hopes that Verne and several of the other On30 modelers here on the forum will join in on this discussion.  I am at that point where N scale is just too small for the ol' eyes anymore.  It is really getting hard to see the rail joiners lining up on N scale track.  At this point I doubt I have to worry if more than one car has the same road number.  I can't see it going by.

Looking for Electric solonoid for use as latch for door to entrance of layout

I want to have an electric door latch for the top and bottom of the "door" to the entrance of the layout since there will be tracks going across the door.  I thought of using automatic electric door locks, but decided against them because they are in the "locked" position if there is no power (the ones I could find anyways).

A Photo Track Plan

Hello all.  I just wanted to give some of you a heads up that I posted a photo track plan to my blog.  I know several have asked to see some sort of a track plan to give a better idea what the overall railroad looks like.  I don't have a drawing but thought some high above photos would do the trick.  I know how things can get buried into a blog and lost.  So, if you're interested, it's there.  Thanks!
