ATSF Paradigm Division is born

Earlier this year after I finished the second spline helix, I began to re-look the design of my new layout. The new layout would be the replacement for the dismantled ATSF Fillmore Division which had been built in a large room in my house before family members moved back thus requiring the reallocation of the room back to living space. The previous layout was a modified N-scale version of Bruce Chubb's original Sunset Valley RR.

WEUSANDCORR tour

This video is showing the changes I have made unfortunately I don't own a camera and my friend did it with his mobile phone. It is of one lap around the layout with some hidden track footage left out

Algonquin Railway-Brent Quarry

Hey Everyone here is a few shots of Brent Quarry.  I just finished this scene and the hoppers in the last couple of days.  Still need a company sign and loads for the hoppers but I would say its 95% done.  I used Kevin Kettles weathering techniques fro the inside of the hoppers.  It was easy and looks great.  Thanks for Looking..

CNW Peninsula Div. RR HO scale Part 4

This is the final group of photos. These are of the areas that do not have scenery or all of the structures built. I do have card board foot prints in place to hold the industries spot and give the operators a idea of where and what they will be for our OPS sessions. So here goes.

Looking East across the Watersmeet Engine Terminal at Watersmeet, MI and into Ironwood, MI. A lot of detail work and building construction left to be done in all of the following areas. But progress not to bad for starting with a totally blank canvas basement just 11 years ago.

Well folks we have returned from our fabulous 3 week adventure in the USA, we spent the entire time in CA visiting friends in Ramona, and touring the coast up to San Francisco and into the mountains at Mammoth Lakes. It was a awesome trip, with fantastic weather and great times catching up with our friends and seeing the USA and all she has to offer.
