Looking West into Escanaba the three buildings in front from left to right are Upper Peninsula Produce Co. (scratch built - Walthers Modular Walls), Ore Dock Control Tower (scratch built - Modular Walls, it also hides the Tortoise motor that operates the switch for the two tracks leading to the Ore Dock), Anderson & Bonefeld Furniture Co.
Escanaba looking East - the building on the left is the offices for Anderson & Bonefeld Furniture Co. And the one on the right is Northern Flour & Grain Co.
Tunnel portals for track going thru view block. The upper one is for track coming from Menominee, MI leading to Iron Mountain & the lower one is coming from the Champion, MI area leading to Loriville. (daughter #1) These two tracks go thru the view block.

Yup, still more detail work to do and also learn more about depth of field on my camera!!!!!!!!
Leaving Iron Mountain looking East. C. Muench Cement & Lime Co. in the fore ground and Cohodas Bros Wholesale Fruits & Vegetables further back and Iron Mountain Transfer Co. way back.
The Iron Mountain Transfer Co. may be changed to some other industry or completely done away with.

For right now this is the Hazel Freight Depot (maybe another industry in the future) with Mirror Lake in the back ground. It is painted on the back drop by a friend of mine.
The control tower watching over the tracks leading into the East end of Green Bay, the track leading into the Hardwood Branch and the third track that comes from Iron Mountain. The upper 2 tracks in the fore ground are for Hazel, and the lower one is coming from Loriville.
The upper track & industries are Bessemer, MI - the industry in front is Farmer Mill & Elevator Co., the small one in the middle is Heritage Wood Products (named after my old cabinet shop), the next one is the Bessemer Passenger Station and the one way back is J.J. Frick Furniture Co. The lower level is the track leading into city of Iron River, MI
The industrial area of Iron River, the buildings are - near left - Riverside Bakery & near right - Iron River Creamery Co. (both are scratch built) the next one is Kenny Ice Co. the far one is Hewitt Grocery Co. & is also scratch built. The Iron River Freight Depot & Passenger Station are seen on the left.
A little better view of the Hewitt Grocery Co. & Iron River Passenger Station
Leaving Iron River - (lower level) heading toward the town of Watersmeet, MI and leaving Bessemer - (upper level) heading toward Ironwood, MI
This will conclude the third set of pictures for the CNW - Peninsula Div. I hope I haven't bored you all to much or posted to many at one time. To help in understanding where the towns are located and how the track runs it might be wise to make a copy and refer to the track plan from my first post. The next post will show the remaining sections of the layout which have not been finished as yet in regards to scenery or industries. All of the track in these areas is complete and is operational.
I have a operating session here the second Tuesday of every month, and the group usually is 6 - 8 people with one being the Yard Master. The rest are road crews usually one or two man crews. The session usually runs about 4 hrs. We can get about 12-14 trains run depending on how much BS there is.
