Layout tour
Layout Vist to Mike McNamara's Northeast Kingdom
Hello everyone, Sunday November 3rd I headed down to Mike McNamara's Northeast Kingdom railroad i took some picture and attached them to the post. i have to say every year i go down there and it just keeps getting better and better every year. it really feels like going back in time to the great days of Northern railroading when the Falls colors match the railcars sitting in yard. but anyway I will let the photos speak for them self and Mike keep up the great work.

Short video on portable layout design
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and to modelling in general. I'm making a short video blog as my boys and I progress with our build. No doubt there will be many mistakes made but we're just having a bit of fun with it and learning as we go. Please check out my video if you have a spare 3mins.
cheers,
Rowan

Photos of My O Scale Switching Layout at the RPM Meet Last Weekend
I thought I'd share some photos I took of my O scale switching layout that I exhibited at the Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet last weekend. The meet ran from Thursday through Saturday. I'd like to thank Joe Delia and Bob Kosic for allowing me to participate in their show. It was a lot of fun!
Some news of the Garve and Ullapool Railway
Hello,
it's been a while since my last post.
Ullapool is now installed in my railway room, and fully functional. During spring and summer I held two operating session. And another will follow in about three weeks. The layout is constructed along the walls of the room and at the moment the fiddle yard reaches in the room. For the future I plan to include a junction station so I've got a possibility for my trains to pass and meet on the line.
Here a few pictures from the layout.
ATSF Paradigm Division (N-scale) - Staging Yards
Now that my wife and I have finished our summer project of rebuilding the shower, I can now refocus my effort back to the new layout.
The first picture shows a partial view down the peninsula of both staging yards (A & B). The scale drawing that was shown in the previous blog post documents (as close as possible) what was built since I obtained the Railmodeller software after the track was put down.
