Augusta RR
To All: Pictured in the center is Melzie Simmons, the grandfather of my wife, on her mother's side. I do not know when the photo was taken, but possibly in the 1940's. The Augusta RR was a shortline located in northern Arkansas that was still in business in 1982. Does anyone know if the Augusta RR still exists? Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout
A Beginner's Beginnings - The B&B Industry
I started this journey by calling it A Beginner's Beginnings. This has led me to to shorten the name to The B&B Railroad. With this in mind, I was contemplating about what would be the best industry to model. I thought, "What starts with a b.....BEER starts with a B, and I like beer!!!!!! Hmmm, what else......BREAD, I also like bread!!!!" This should work.

Jumper Between Locos
Have any of you come up with a good way to jumper between hood unit locomotives?

Sidetracked again ...
My first wireframe tree turned out "OK", but not really having the airiness that I wanted for an Alder. Plus I made it too wide with the canopy. It looks more like an Oak to me. Maybe an Oak with a skinny trunk...
I was also limited with my color selection of leafy material, but I can probably correct some of that with an airbrush.
Virginia Southwestern Railroad N&W Buchanan Branch
Many of you all have seen my videos on my blog. You can see photos of the layout and motive power on one of my Facebook groups. My layout is featured on the Clinchfield Railroad or the Virginia Southwestern Railroad groups on Facebook. Search for them and request to joinus.

Another Question...
Will it cause any problems with my NCE system to route
the lead from the system to the program track thru an
electronic circuit breaker? I intend to use a booster on
the programing track and I assume that the CB would
precede the booster.....
Thanks,
Dan

JMRI OPERATIONS NEW MANIFEST CREATOR
The following manifest is from my layout for Train 100, a West to East Manifest Fright that runs across the layout and sets out and picks up cars from various Towns. This is another great advancement in the JMRI Operations Program and will be a built in part of operations program with the down load in a very short period of time. Dan & Dan are working on the final clean up and it will be available to all soon. I will post a note when ready. Open to see manifest.
