NP Decals for HO Tichy 53 GSC Flat Car
I acquired two Tichy 52'6" GSC flat car kits. They come undecorated and have no suggestions for decals. I have built one and have the other in reserve. I am holding back on my SP Historical and Technical Society F70 kit until I retire and have more time to devote to its construction.

What to use for HO "sand"? preferably a common item....
Been working on my Walthers HO sand house and I've been contemplating what to fill the sand bin with to represent HO scale sand. Of course, real sand comes to mind but I don't know how well it scales down.
A new Layout - seeking ideas for a track-plan.
I wasn’t sure where to post this, because I’m a long way from being a beginner when it comes to model railways - I’ve had a number of layouts over the years; all of them small and portable, in typically British style (I am British; I live in Lancaster - the original one, with a castle, rather than the upstart version in Pennsylvania!). But I think this forum will do, because this is the first time I’ve tried seriously to model North American trains.

Removing Athearn headlight bulbs
Hello All,
Does anybody have an easy way to remove the headlight bulbs on horizon era Athearn locos?
Right now my SW1000's have an unusual "cross-eyed" look to the headlights.
