Operations, a real third rail of a topic
So, Operations is a complicated subject. Not because actual operations need to be complicated, but because it's is such an all-encompassing subject.
And I'm hardly an expert - I haven't gotten them running on my layout, for instance.
But that might be an advantage - I'm not to the point where I'm locked into any given system, and I'm still evaluating to some extent.
So consider this in the way of a survey. I'll try not to overcomplicate it.
Automatic interlocking
I have a situation where I need automatic turnout control. It's a one track to two track remote interlocking . Coming from the single track to double I want the turnout thrown reverse for right hand running. Until the train clears the interlocking I want the turnout to be reversed. Once the West bound has cleared if the next traffic is eastbound I want the turnout to go normal and hold until the train clears. If the next train is westbound I want it to remain as it is. While I do have remote ctc dispatching I have no room on my ctc board to add this . Any ideas ?
A-Track – Transfer to new server forces update
