So in addition to the anniversary of the layout being in August, so is my wedding anniversary and today the wife's gift to me arrived. I also have some "cabeese" on the way from e-bay but she doesn't know about those...shhhhwink

Did the prototype mark clearance points?

Did the prototype railroads back in the 20's mark clearance points on sidings or spurs?

First Tracks Assembled

I've finally started assembling the tracks for my Lynn Junction layout!

I say assembled because I've only soldered them together, they aren't affixed to the roadbed yet.  I wanted to get these turnouts put together as a unit to start to make sure they flowed smooth and to have something solid to build from.  As I was dry fitting the rest of the junction, these kept falling apart.  Now they won't, and I can more accurately cut the rest of the flextrack.
