Which Contact Size to Use for Anderson Power Pole

For the removable sections of the Interim P&A Layout I am going to use the Anderson PowerPole's and they are NOW available through Mouser Electronics.  My question is what size contacts should I use?

Wiring a turnout

Howdy, I'm one of the new guys.  I've resurrected a 30+ year old HO train set.  Since I have no permanent place to set this up, it's on the kitchen island which has a granite top.  SO, this is a temporary setup.  Because of where it is, I have had to use Bachman EZ Track..  What I'm stuck with is this:  How do I wire my turnouts?  I have made three turnouts to park trains on but do not know how to do the wiring with this track or on this surface.  I end&

Upper Valance - Part II

Just a quick update before I sign off to begin the holiday festivities. I have made sufficient progress on the upper valance to be ready for Santa's LED presents to me. The wall angle for the lay-in lighting panels is completed all way round. That allowed me to begin finish work on the valance front. It is taped and first round of mud.

Helper ops question

Say a stretch of railroad in a mountainous area was owned by railroad A, but railroad B had trackage rights.

That stretch of railroad is also a helper district, where railroad A's trains stop at the base of the grade to have extra locomotives added for the trip up the grade, and removed after the trip down the grade.

What happens to railroad B's trains?

1. Do railroad A's helper locos get added to railroad B's trains?

2. Does railroad B also have its own helper locos stationed at the base of the grade?

Ghost River Dec 2011

A lot has happened on the Ghost River Railway over the past few months. Lots of trees have been made and added to the layout, new industries added at Ghost River, new rolling stock and engines and a new Zephyr DCS51 which has allowed me to break the layout up into two districts.

Programming a SoundTraxx Tsunami decoder with an unknown address

I posted on the MRH forum about putting a decoder in a Bachmann GP30. The MRH community gave several helpful responses.

As you may be aware, I purchased a Tsunami decoder. All was good - I had the decoder wired to the motor (after
discovering I had the motor wired backwards) and the frame and hooked up my speaker (in an enclosure) and I got sound and the loco ran. No lights yet - I wanted to test things as they were.

DCC Query on My Layout

Please find attached my layout,

I have used Peco Code 75 Electrofrog on the turnouts and I intend to use Tam Valley Depot Frog Juicers and power the points with Switchmasters.

Can someone please advise whether I can use the Switchmasters without the Frog Juicers? or is it advisable to use both?

cheers
