Primitive Paint Shop Attempt
One can only do so much clicking in MS Paint while trying to plan out a paint scheme or two for a freelanced line (My Idaho Belt RR) before insanity threatens.

Merry trainmas!
This is the what did I get for Christmas for my layout thread. The above Blair Line kit was waiting for me, which is 1 end of my next 2 modules. (A steel mill end will be the other one).

MRC prodigy works intermittently HO scale
I have an MRC Prodigy advance squared and it is working intermittently. Sometimes I have to turn it off and on a couple of times before the controller works. I have a PC connection and it has the same issue. Even when I get it working, the system loses contact with the trains sometimes. I am wondering if the problem is my layout size. I have a 9x22 layout, double track main with a fiddle yard. Any thoughts? Do I need a power booster and if so, which one?
My first module - Installing the bridge
Now it's time to install the bridge.
Here is my Exactrail 50' girder bridge weathered lightly with AIM Products powders finally glued in place. I also added more weathering to the abutments.

Brass Chassis ID needed
A friend of mine gave me this chassis today knowing I could use it to make something out of it. The question I have is who made it?
Here are five pictures. Perhaps somebody knows what it was and can point me to a picture of it.

More January issue sneak peek
Here's another sneak peek from the upcoming cover story on my HO Siskiyou Line, this time a panorama of my Tenmile Creek scene. I've never put the entire scene into a single photo before, so I thought this might be fun to do ... here it is. This photo, and a full-sized 300 DPI panorama you can look at will be in the January issue.
Enjoy ... click on the photo for a larger version.

Listen to Joe Fugate on Lionel Strang's podcast, "A Modelers Life"
Spotted this today:
Episode 40: Joe Fugate -
It’s time for our annual state of the hobby address with Joe Fugate, editor and publisher of Model Railroad Hobbyist. I was sure we’d been doing this for several years but Joe was convinced it was only our second time.
We covered all sorts of interesting subjects and Joe was an excellent guest as always.
So sit back with a steaming hot bowl of cookie dough ice cream and enjoy Episode #40: Joe Fugate.

Building the Campbell Howe Truss Bridge
I bought off EBay several years ago this kit. Was told it was complete..well not so. I put the kit up and away till recently and now remember the full size layout plans for the bridge are not in the box. I could use a set ( or photo copy) if anyone has them. Also the exact overall dimensions would aid in construction.
