Locos - Rolling stock (general)
Louisville and Nashville Passenger Cars
I am a bit stumped. I cannot figure out what color the L&N's passenger fleet was in the late 1930's. Any of the color photos I've seen of them are from the 60's and they are all blue with yellow lettering and stripes. My best guess is that they painted them in a standard "Pullman Style" scheme of green with gold roman letters. Any help given is greatly appreciated. Ron S.
OO scale cars
I have a few OO scale cars, how much different do they appear on my layout than HO? Are the sizes that noticeable?
Genesis and Proto 2000 Performance Problems
Ever add locos to your roster and feel this urge to stomp them into oblivion soon thereafter? Time to vent! Let's consider a couple of examples...
Building a GE 85 ton steeple cab: Now completed

I decided to detail them differently and including pantograph, man position, number position.
Why, just when you need them
So, I am preparing for the upcoming convention and setting up for having some cars judged towards an AP cert. Two of the cars to be judged are two that you have all seem - the Bamboo Grove and the Camellia from the City of Miami.
So, I go to remove the interior of the Carmellia the car and two of the walls come loose! While I am reattaching them, the nurse comes loose....
Murphy's law or what?
I got it glued back together and now the interior is in a clear plastic case (from Cotswolds Collectibles - it's a GIJOE storage case).
