Non-Sound Decoder for Genesis GP9 - Done

My Athearn Genesis GP9 just showed up at the LHS today, so I need to get a non-sound decoder for it.  I've seen a few posts and videos on the subject on various other forum sites, and I do have one friend who messed around with some things getting his decodered some time ago.  I didn't find a totally clear solution.

3 truck Shay

I purchased a Bachmann 3 truck Shay a while back. I not run it much but today when I tried to run it only a couple of the wheels were turning. After some inspection I seen that all but 2 of the gear connected to the wheels were broken. Has any one else had this problem. If so how did you fix it. I contacted Bachmann but I have gotten a reply back yet.

New coal cars

Ok, so I acquired 13 new RTR coal cars yesterday from a major vendor.  These are 34' 50 ton cars.

I expected McHenry couplers, and am 9/13 done switching them out for Kadees.  They came with metal wheels, good.

The cars seem light to me, but I was going to add weight anyway, so no biggie.

Detail on Coach Cars

My tail sign coach cars for the El Cap train are almost finished.  The two cars are detailed but one is slightly dirty and will receive some more weathering and the other one is fairly clean.

English Electric Diesel Locomotive Class 1400 CP (Portuguese Railways) - Portugal

Hi,

This is one of my 2012 projects and my first post on this Forum: the English Electric Diesel Locomotive Class 1400 of CP (Portuguese Railways) in the standard orange/brown colour scheme, built for a friend.
Portugal ordered a total of 50 Diesel Class 1400 locomotives from English Electric.
The first bath of 10 locomotives where built in the United Kingdom and arrived in Portugal in 1967. The remaining locomotives where built in Portugal.

Decals

I have been rebranding HO diesels to add to my C&O inventory.  I now find that there are no more decals available.  Can anyone help?

Running in new Heavyweight locomotive for my laout

I decided that a heavyweight engine was needed for the layout. Here it is getting a run in to ensure it is running properly.
