Buck & Loretta's place - 99-44/100% done

Closer, but no cigar yet when it comes to being finished with Buck & Loretta's place in the back corner of the alcove.

This area will look much better once the area in the foreground is finished.  I had to do the rear corners first in order to be able to reach them.

HO scale roundhouse

Has anyone used the Bachmann HO turntable?  It has 22.5 degrees between the tracks.  I can't

find a roundhouse that fits it.  Most have either 10 degrees or 16 degrees between the tracks.

I am new to this so I am in a quandary as to what to do.  Maybe I should just get rid of the turntable.  I

am beginning to think it is a piece of expensive junk

Help anyone,

Thanks Ken

A Trip To The Woodshed

Five day weekend ahead of me, most of which will be spent gluing down dirt and leaves, and planting trees:

New Position Light Signals

Hi Folks, I have been working on  some new signals and thought I would show the group. The store bought ones seem to expensive and most of the time are not to scale. I have combined a TrainCat kit with Oregon Rail Supply heads. I cut the backs off the heads and use just face and hoods... not perfect but pretty good. The LEDs are surface mount without lenses (from Mouser) and I am using Zebra Wire to hook them up. I glue the LEDs to the head with gap filling ACC.     How does it look... any suggestions?

Slow going on the corner

Am I the only one that encounters this problem? - It seems the closer that I get to completion on something the slower going it gets and feels like it will take forever to finish!  Case in point:  I'm about 95% complete on the alcove corner section that contains Buck & Loretta's trailer house and the last 5% seems to be taking FOREVER!

I've added a dark gray mask to the picture below to help block out the background.  I'm now adding trees, bushes, telephone poles (with wires) and final details.
