Rural Drawbridge prototype

I've spent the last two days riding Amtrak #11 from Seattle, WA to Southern California, CA.  And, of course, my face was glued to the window most of the time; camera and notepad in hands.

In central Oregon I spotted the perfect prototype for a drawbridge to fit a non-industrial or rural setting.  I would love to build it, even though it won't fit my layout.  So, I'm hoping that someone on this forum might have some detailed info on it.

water

Hey Gang!

What's the best way to model deep water?..I want to make the water for my GB&W Fox River Crossing and would like it to be over 1" thick.  I was looking at Envirotex light and multi pours. Is there anything better out there?

Also will the material attack the pink foam river edges?

Scratchbuilt Grain Elevator

This elevator was originally built for one of my modules as part of a portable layout group that has since gone dormant.  I'm revising my home layout so I'm going to try to work it into the new trackplan.

Dwarf Signal

I have designed and produced a O scale, scale-sized (1/48)  B&O CPL dwarf signal, built from the plans of the General Railway Signal Type VA dwarf.  Here's a picture of the painted signal:

Grimes Line Update

Finished up most of the scenery between Hickman Road and Millard Lumber on my IAIS Grimes Line layout.  This is a heavily wooded area on the prototype and I wanted to best simulate the tree tunnel found along the line.

Best,
James
