MRH Website general discussion
Buying online from the UK
Just starting on this wonderful journey .. there are some good stores in the UK but obviously looking online one sees so many different items in the States that one would like to purchase.
I'm just wondering what experience other modellers in the UK may have had of ordering online ... re how long for delivery .. carrier charges.

Spambot hit MRH hard
A Spambot appears to have hit almost every topic on the MRH site. I started marking them as spam one by one, but after doing a bunch that way realized that you probably will need to use one of your tools to auto delete them.

Groups?
Hey guys,
Of course I love what you're doing with the place! But I notice there is (on the right there:) a 'groups' bullet item, and when I click on it it gives me a chance to search. Its new (to me:) so I have to ask, what are the groups? And what might I be searching for:)? And in a related question, what is the difference(s) between groups and forums?
Honest questions, forgive me for asking about something that is likely blatently obvious.
Best,
jim

Can we get an RSS feed for the "Recent posts" page?
And if we can get an RSS feed for the "Recent posts" page, could it include all new entries, including replies?
Thanks,

Friday Photo Fun - 1/14/11
This photo is of a "History Board" that my wife made for open house at the Richlawn Railroad. It sits on a table just as you enter my basement and gives visitors a visual history of the railroad from the very beginning. The visitors seem to enjoy seeing the progress from the humble beginnings. As we make progress we'll add additional photos. By the way, it needs to be updated!

Clicking on "Recent Posts" Logs me out...
When I click on "recent posts" the website logs me out now. Is this happening with anyone else?

MRH web site changes coming
We hope to be on the new-and-improved MRH web site before the end of January, and we've been testing a few things on the existing site in preparation for that.
The site was also offline for a bit this morning as part of the changes. That was unexpected, but we quickly upended things and got them going again.
More details will be coming soon as to the new features and the new look.
Lost content???
I tried searching for something regarding this but was unable to fnid anything so please forgive me if the subject has already been discussed.
I had a bookmark to a discussion on the website about yard design and I can no longer access the information. The link is http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/782
Am i doing this wrong. Are the site links dynamic or something like that?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
