Atlas Roundhouse & Walther Roundhouse ????
I have a atlas turntable that i modified and weathered etc and was wondering if the Walther Roundhouse would line up with tracks of the Atlas turntable? If not then I guess I have to search for a couple of Atlas roundhouses that I don't know if they even make them anymore. This would be in N scale that I am doing this. Thanks Keith
Decal Problem
I am having trouble with the decals in a Walthers Cornerstone kit. The decal film seems unaffected by an application of Solvaset. The decals just curly up and pull away from the surface upon drying. I even bought a fresh bottle of Solvaset. I have never had decals that Solvaset couldn't get to snuggle down before. Any suggestionsl
Turntable control
I got a killer deal on a Diamond Scale turntable kit, and it came with the optional manual crank control. Now, I have the opportunity for another killer deal on a used PTC III turntable controller with the rotary switch control panel, minus the stepper motor and some of the wiring.
I'm reaching out to the collective here to see if acquiring the PTC III is worth the time and effort. Anyone have any experience with it, good, bad, or indifferent? It sounds like it's a rather foolproof and accurate way to index a turntable and control it.

GLX scale model kit? Tips-advice
hey guys I just got this propane yard kit in the mail from GLX scale models. I've never built a laser kit before and can't believe how light and thin the pieces are. It does come with a pretty thick colored instruction manual but figured it couldn't hurt to ask on here if anyone has built one or something like it before and if you have any pointers or advice before I attempt this baby. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds

Help me identify this inspection pit
I picked these out of junk box the other day. Anyone know what kit they used to belong to? Before I try to kitbash the rail guides/stanchions, I want to make sure there is not something they will go with that is a little easier to construct.
Thanks in advance.
Plate Girder Bridge (trestle), semi-scratch built HO
Hi all,
I have built for my current layout a 3-span plate girder bridge (2 x 50' and 1x30' center span). It is loosely based on ATSF prototypes for wooden deck (with ballasted track) plate girder bridges. It is almost finished from a modeling perspective (no ballast yet) and has been temporarily installed in the layout in order to serve its purpose.

Teddy Bear fur
I was reading about someone who was making a field of tall grass using a sheet of fur, like those used to make a stuffed Teddy Bear, but he did not go into detail.
Any advice on where to get a sheet of fur, fur length, color, brand, etc. Examples using the fur?
Thanks in advance.
Bill.

Inkjet photo backdrop for shelf-style layout
I have a somewhat unique predicament with my shelf layout. As you can see from the pictures below, I’m creating a shelf style layout that runs about 7 ½” below the ceiling. It’s quite basic, but also kind of large (14’ X 28’). My predicament is what to do for the backdrop. I’m pretty much sold on using a photo-type backdrop. However, the cost seems quite expensive based on the various photo-based backdrops available on the market. I could easily spend over $800 or more for my backdrop!

Unique prototype structures
I recently visited Rochester, Minnesota, and traveling through the south part of town spotted one of the city’s unique landmarks – their ear of corn water tower.
Interesting prototype idea...Bookmobiles
Here's a kitbash project possibility for almost any era and location: A bookmobile. Driving down the road, or parked at a library loading up, or at a school or town center, From as early as the horse drawn ne in 1905, and the Model T, on through modern day. I remember one in the mid '70's at my elementary school, although this one was a mobile book store.
