Eastern Red Cedar

Hello Everyone

I am starting a shelf railroad based on the Missouri & North Arkansas RR in Eureka Springs Ar in about 1911. I have seen tons of tutorials on different ways to model trees but what I'm going to need is a way to model the Eastern Red Cedar which is very prevalent here in Arkansas. Would anyone have any advice or know of a article that could help me out?

Thank you folks!

Some very nice vintage bulldozer models

I ordered one of these in HO in a double winch configuration and am very impressed:

Campbell Model HO scale Covered Bridge Kit

Does anyone have detailed tips, schematics, plans or photos to share that would be helpful in constructing the Campbell Covered Bridge kit?? I have an old kit probably from the 70's and the instructions are lacking schematics.

Thanks for the help.

Grain and corn in H0

I'm looking for ideas what to use to model grain and corn in H0. What would look convincing?

Forest Fire - after

Working on several feet of backdrop and decided to try an after the fire woods scene.

Somewhat stylized, but appears to be working.  any sugestions?

Static grass comparison

Does anyone know if there is a document/chart which compares the different static grass offerings from the different companies?  For instance, I am interested in some sort of color chart which allows me to compare X company's offering for light green grass to a light green offering from Y company.   MRH did that great post-floquil guide (Thank you)  Anything similar for static grass?

I am getting ready to do grass work and the offerings are very confusing.

Static Grass Applicator Question

I know that there was a lot of discussion and experimentation on here with homemade static grass applicators a few years back. I am building one now and have a question. I started out trying to see how cheaply I could make it. Well, my first 2 "cheap" negative ion generators were defective. Now that I am willing to spend more, can someone recommend a GOOD negative ion generator that is tried and true and actually works for this application? Thanks for your help.

Apple Maps 3D as a research tool

I’m probably the last person on earth to discover this, but I recently learned about Apple Maps 3D and realized what a great tool it can be for model railroad research. I especially like it’s ability to seamlessly move from an overhead shot to something that’s much closer to ground level (depending on satellite coverage of the area) by moving up and down with two fingers.

Plastic strip industrial doors

Need suggestions for modelling (in HO) those clear-ish, heavy-weight plastic strip, industrial doors that allow fork-lifts and similar vehicles to drive through without having to stop to open them, but largely keep out wind and rain.  If anyone has any suggestions I'd be delighted to hear them. TIA

Need Instructions and some parts to a Pickle Factory

First, I need help determining which Pickle Factory this is, since several manufacturer's have extremely similar models of this.  Any ideas which one this is?
