Recommendations for achieving consistent miter joints on sheet plastic?

I'm trying to figure out what methods and tools to use to create quality, consistent miter joints on plastic (molded corrugated) sheets for a scratch build structure. Cutting the 45 degree miter is beyond me and I need some input.

Thanks in advance.

It's going to be one of several grain elevator/feed mill structures I'm working on using existing prototype designs.

Town Statue Size

I am interested in placing a statue in a public park scene. My plan is to use war figurines which come in a variety of scales. I was thinking 1/64 would be a small statue with the people being just a little larger than a real 1/87 person. It seems like 1/48 might be right for a larger statue.

Stautes come in a variety of sizes, but what is a good size ? Anyone have any experience building such a thing?

Telegraph poles and wires

Please note that this is for a photo diorama, NOT for an operating layout.

GLASS CLEANER FOR WETTING AGENT?

With the low supply of alcohol these days I have been looking for an alternative for a wetting agent for ballasting and scenery.  In the past I have used Windex glass cleaner to thin latex paint for air brushing.  Thought I would give it a try for ballasting when I ran out of IPA.  Seem to work pretty well.  Has anyone else tried it?

Extra credit for scratchbuilding and prototype inspiration!

Please list manufacturers as well.

Going big with kitbashing

Greetings! Extra modeling time on our hands can pay big dividends on the workbench. We needed a means of hiding some upper-deck benchwork supports in the town of Berrian Vista on our 1927-vintage Sugar Pine Lumber Company layout and a large, semi-flat-profile background industry would fit the bill. We're aiming for a woodworking industry, some type of wood products factory such as furniture, millwork, barrels or whatever, and it started life as two Edison's Menlo Park Laboratory kits, part of the Greenfield Village series.

Static Grass Applicators

I am thinking the time has come for me to invest in a static grass applicator. I have read a few threads and articles concerning different varieties of applicators, from home-made to some costing well over $100. I'm not afraid to invest the money in a quality unit, but I don't want to waste money either. So I am hoping that some folks in this forum will offer some insight based on experiences both good and bad that will help me select or build a unit that works well.

Would This Scene Scenario Be Feasible ?

I have a seven foot siding that terminates at a warehouse complex. Most of this siding parallels a street in a semi-rural setting, let's say on the north side of the street.  I would like to add a couple businesses on the north side of the street, specifically a gas station / fuel dealer. Vehicles would be required to cross this (seldom used) track to access the station.

scenery sculptamold, paper mache, ground goop, etc

ITS July already..... I'm sure this topic has come up ..But  I have been trying to purchase "Sculptamold" from various one line and brick and mortor locations..I am assuming due to "corona" ordering and perhaps manufacturing has maybe slowed..I cant find it anywhere in New England, If I do its 2 to 3 months out from being available..I do have celluclay which seems to work just fine too..So I googled Make yer own etc..and came up with a few different versions ..So far so good...some tweaking maybe in ratios but over all its been working just as good if
