MRH zip texturing article
In the zip texturing article in the latest issue of MRH, there are 4 colors shown as staples: black, brown, yellow, and blue. The various color formulas included in the artcile use all the colors except blue. What is the blue used for? Mixing with yellow to make green for distant grass areas?
O gauge turntable plan
I am working on a O gauge layout, and would like to build my own turntable, with a 32" bridge length +/-. Does anyone have plans for this or something close?

Dr. Ben's Industrial Weathering Pigments
Hi all-
I've played around with several different chalk/powder manufacturers and stumbled upon this one (scroll down for the railroad colors) but had never heard of it before. I was taken by the variety of colors that they had to offer and some of the applications they demonstrate but the product seems. Has anyone out there tried these in the past and what did they think of the results?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Looking for Articles on how to use Photoshop for Model Railroad Backdrops
I don't recall seeing any articles in MRH, but i'm hoping someone has come accross an article whether in print or online on how to use photoshop to make backdrops.

How can I make an HO banner (strung on poles across a street)?
I can create the art without any problem. Can you suggest what thin, limp, paper-like material can be used to simulate an HO canvas banner and can go through an inkjet printer? Regular printer paper is far too stiff and all cloth that I know of is too thick and coarsely woven to look credible. I'm hoping that there is something that could be temporarily glued to printer paper with low-tack spray adhesive, printed, then cut to size and separated from the paper.

Concrete (roads) tutorial...
Hi friends,
on general demand I'll give you a small concrete road painting tutorial. I made this afther receiving a mail from my down-under friend Jason. Only took me 30 minutes (more work to do the pictures then the painting infact). To speed up the drying time between coats I used a hair dryer. I used a piece of gatorboard laying around but it works the same for styrene.

Diesel service area.....(update)
Hi friends,
since I am still in my vacation time and going nowhere this year I am catching up on the layout...
Today I did some more detailing on the diesel service area. Still need some oil drums, skids ( probably going to buy some of these online tonite) and other junk you find on these area's. As for lights, I am waiting untill the background buildings are done so I can wire this side of the layout as one light block.
The pics...
