HOW RAILS PASS OVER BRIDGE ADUTMENTS
I am in the process of installing a Central Valley trestle with Chooch Ent.
Operating chain link industry gate
A while back, someone posted a video showing an operating chain link gate for a railside industry; I don't recall if it operated manually or electrically/electronically. Anyone remember the post, or have a link, or can point me in the right direction? I tried a search here on MRH, but no luck.TIA

Realistic Billboards
Hey all,
For those of you that may be interested, I put together a short video on a billboard I recently made. It's in the form of a how-to video so if your interested in copying the method I use then feel free.
My aim is to inspire you to give it a try. If you to have some examples of billboards you've made already then I'd love to see them!
Anyway, here is the video:
animated billboard
I know there's some railroad modelers here that might be interested..
here one of my designs.. a uProcessor driven, animated color billboard
here you can see a prototype demo of the 2.2 inch TFT color unit...

Yet another tree quandary......(of a slightly different kind)
In the photo below, you will see two conifers I've been working on. I'm pretty happy with them and have gotten the look I wanted. I had always planned to put a third one up on the ridge too. Probably by moving the smaller one forward and putting something a little larger in the back. Now I'm not so sure. It's as if the area begs for something to be there, even if nothing more than a stump or a pile of deadfall.
Some real neat animation
To all Here are 2 neat little videos watch and enjoy. I came across these today.
Looking for modern ads?
Looking for billboards and ads for your modern era layout? Look no further than Facebook. You don't even have to be a member of Facebook or "like" a company to access their page. You’ll find that most businesses have a page with a wealth of ads that can be easily downloaded with a simple right click. Often their "cover photos" at the top are perfectly shaped for an HO billboard. Be sure to check out car companies, clothing stores, and candy companies to get started.

My first real attempt at a HO scale " foreground" conifer
There's a couple of other threads on conifer trees right now and I apologize because I know some folks will feel all we need is another one but one of those threads is about a method in the magazine this month and the other is one I started seeking trunk proportion info but it's more or less turned into an arborist discussion group.
