Benchwork and roadbed

Cutting osb
Im thinking about buying a sheet of 19/32 4×8 osb at Lowes.
I need to have them cut it at the store
How smooth of a cut should it be? Will the ends fall apart?

New Fascia's & Fascia Control Panels...
Today I spent the day reinstalling the layout fascia and fascia control panels around Carlisle Junction. This area was altered when I installed the helix, I also had to add another fascia control panel for the east end of the Staging Yard.

Grades of Plywood
I didn't want to hijack the ongoing thread on how to cut plywood with a jigsaw, but I did want to learn more than I know about different grades of plywood, how they are designated and rated and sold, and how to understand the gradings.
I looked at my local home depot and saw gradings like C+C, C/C, C+/C on different stacks (at different prices). I didn't see any B's or A's.... I don't know what these designations mean really, other than to guess that C = construction, just because it was all pretty rough stuff.
cutting plywood.
well i do not understand why i am chipping up slivers as i cut my plywood boards.
two differnt new blades. plywood was out in the heat for a week.
using a cheap harbor freight jig saw. but that should not matter.

What to use to make Road?? opinions
Hey girls and guys, 6/15/19
I'm trying to decide what to make my asphalt out of. It's a little strip of road next to a warehouse. I can't decide if I should use styrene and go do what Lance Mindheim has suggested in his blogs and books or if I should go with something like what Mike Confalone did in his Trainmasters video on roads? I've attached a couple pics of what I'm working on and there's a pic of the actual area.
I'd appreciate your opinions and suggestions on what route I should go
Mushroom Layouts --All at once or one deck at a time?
Joe Fugate & et al,

Helix Derailments, rare or common?
I just finished building my helix structure that features cantilevered 'roadbed shelfs/tracks'.
Poplar for benchwork?
I am building a series of 30" x 4 ft boxes for a new empty basement. Considering having Home Depot cut poplar to size (since it sells by the lf), Any thoughts on poplar instead of pine? Ripping plywood not really in the picture.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
welded rail (soldering flex track before laying it)
yes i know HEAT. but what about welding the flex track to make 9 ft 12ft or 15 foot long sections?
if done right, while on the work bench, then grind to re-contour the rail to allow it to slide through the molded on tie plates. could this prevent kinks in curves?
as in some places it would be very hard to just solder in the hard to reach back of "that" spot.
as in my helix, blocked by two corners of the room.
