TMTV and Barry visiting Trevor - any special meaning?

Trevor Marshall posted in his blog that Barry from TMTV came to visit. Some asked does this have any special meaning? As a result, an entire TMTV dialog back and forth started that had nothing to do with Trevor, so we've pulled that discussion out of Trevor's blog (removing the hijack) and moved the TMTV-centric discussion here.

My first response to any deep meaning around the TMTV exec producer making house calls was  ...

YouTube video producers don't make house calls - one more thing that makes TMTV unique (wink).

In Ops Live 1, Chapter 12: Meanwhile, back in Roseburg, several times it is mentioned that the engineer has set the couplers to the delayed uncouple position, while the train is in motion.

TMTV - Soldering a Brass Kit

Soldering. Sooner or later we all have to do it, and learning the techniques can seem daunting. Roger Chrysler visits The Backshop Clinic to give us some tips on using a traditional soldering iron as well as a resistance-soldering tool.  Duration: 22:52

Suggestion for Layout Tours on TMTV

One think I liked about other video Layout Tours from other producers is seeing a track plan and following a "dot" along the track to represent where on the trackplan the viewer is looking at as the tour proceeds along the layout.  Any chance of adding this type of feature into future TMTV episodes?

When is TMTV going to get past the preview state?

Much as I love the Siskiyou stuff, I have all the DVDs so for me it's a bit redundant.  When are the preview videos going full length?

New content - a suggestion

I've been enjoying the new content on TMTV as it goes up, but I was thinking it would be nice if you posted a variety of videos instead of consecutive videos from the same series each day.

Or, worded another way; post 2 videos from a pool of several series so as to increase the variety on TMTV sooner.

Great work TMTV People!
