German HO Layout, Pilenium Video
I was just watching a Pilenium Video of an HO Layout in Germany. I noticed that every tie had a raised ear in the center, between the rails.
I spent two years in Germany and have to say that I never noticed a raised ear in the center of every tie on the real German Railway system. When I was over there, we even rode the trains at various times and ended up spending a night in a railway station near Baumholder, Germany. I was amazed that steam still ran in Germany in the very early 1970s.

Branding ...our hobby needs to improve in this area
I have noticed a lot of companies associated with this hobby have very poor logos or web banners. They have either say
"We from the 50's" look
or they have
"here kids you do art at school, see what you can come up with".
And the worst thing about this is the Vendors, company's, associations probably realise this but then they say
"but we have had that logo for 10 years we can't change it now we are known by it"

First of all, love the QAT, I like the format as it's mostly audio, so I can listen while working on the layout, and glance at my phone screen and see the video when something visual comes up.

TMTV layouts collection ( 9.99 / buy-to-own ) Problems downloading
Is any one else having trouble with the Trainmasters TV Layouts downloads? I bought the $9.99 to be able to download over 80 Layouts from Trainmasters TV. I can download some, but I having trouble downloading others. I am about 35% through and can not download half of these so far. The problem is that on the ones I can't download, it is becuase the download button is missing. Below is a list that I can not download due to the missing download button. I had to start a list like the below to see how many have failed, so far a lot.
