Layouts in Ohio/western Pennsylvania for TrainMasters TV
I'll be in western Pennsylvania and northern Ohio from May 1st thru May 4th, and I will have time to shoot a couple of layouts for TrainMasters TV. If anyone is interested in participating, or knows someone personally who might like to have their railroad featured, please send me a note at barrys@trainmasters.tv.*
The sessions usually take 7-8 hours including a lunch break. The railroads do not have to be fully complete, but I'm always looking for layouts with areas that are finished, and modeling/construction that is high-quality and unique.
Really Dumb Smart TV
I spend quite a bit of time in my home office and often have a playlist of videos running on a small TV.
A few days ago I noticed the "Smart TV" had a web browser. Usually I just cast the TMTV browser tab that's running in the background, but I thought I'd try the TV's web browser just to see if it worked.
The short story is that it worked just fine. The video and audio were great.
TMTV E-Books for subscribers...
Not sure how I missed seeing these were available to read on line with my subscription! I'm currently on chapter 3 of Mike Confalone's Allagash story, very good read! The fact it was posted 2 years ago, I'm stumped as to how I had missed it so far. Another bonus from TMTV Thanks guys!
Video Set Links on Web Site Menu?
I got an email today offering some end of year discounts on TMTV that email took me to the promotional page here:

On that page are two more links that group the Modeling Out Of the Box series and the Siskiyou line series

I can't find these links anywhere off of the Main TMTV web page. Am I just blind ?
TrainMasters TV website maintenance: DONE
Tonight at 10pm, the TrainMasters TV site will undergo maintenance while moving to a new hosting provider.
You should be able to still watch videos on the site, but we will turn off new memberships until the transfer is complete 24 hours later (evening of December 25th).
By Monday, December 26th, the site should be fully functional on our new server, complete with the ability to once again sign up or extend your membership.
TMTV mail server hacked
Many of you may recall the TMTV server went down last weekend with a Bluehost issue. Well, it turns out we've found the root cause - our Bluehost email server was hacked and used to send 10,000 porn spam emails.
TMTV videos the same as the MRH Store?
Just wondering if anyone knows if the Videos/DVD's that are for sale at Trainmaster are the same as what is posted on the site. In other words if I am a subscriber is it worth buying any of the DVD sets?

TMTV TOMA Project layout progress sneak peek
Starting in January on TrainMasters TV, the new TOMA Project Layout series!
The layout is coming along nicely and we will have it on display in our booth at the Amherst Show this coming January. We're modeling the modern day Vermont Railway, and it's turning out to be a total blast.
Here's a few sneak peeks ... these scenes are not finished, but they're taking shape!
