TMTV - New Stuff Posted!
There goes the rest of my afternoon...
There I was making great progress on the layout and I happened to check the TMTV site to see if the new show segment was posted.
Not only is the new show posted, but 2 more Mike Confalone videos are up! (from the Modeling outside the box series)
oh well!

TMTV - Painting backdrops clinic chapters 3 and 4 available!
Part 3 of the Backdrop painting series with Lionel Strang and Chris Lyon is up on TrainMasters TV ... this chapter covers painting hills. Part 4 on painting trees will be coming next weekend.
When can we expect to see the next segment of Chris Lyon backdrop painting on TrainmastersTV?
I know someone mentioned "February" but I'm waiting to paint my backdrop until I can see his distant hills / hills techniques! Can you please hurry? (Grin)
Backshop with Lionel Strang
I just watched the first backdrop painting episode. Very enjoyable!
Lionel Strang is, to say the least, unconventional as a video host. But he is absolutely outstanding in that role! His rather droll sense of humor jumps out of the screen at the viewer (at least, at this viewer) and adds tremendously to the watchability of The Backshop episodes.
I've seen the earlier episodes of The Backshop, and each is better than the last.

It turns out that I have an opening in my schedule on Thursday before the Amherst show in Massachusetts and I would like to squeeze in shooting an extra layout feature for TrainMasters TV in the Springfield area. Mike Confalone video coming to TrainMasters - status update
We had hoped to have the Mike Confalone interview video come to TrainMasters on or about the 20th of Jan, but unfortunately, that's not going to happen as planned. It will be delayed by at least a week.
Mike's layout room has areas of darker and lighter lighting, and the video used room lighting rather than special lights. That meant we had to do a number of special tricks to get the shadow area details to show reasonably well without blowing out the whites like the melting snow piles.

Some suggestions
I'm a new subscriber and just started viewing the videos and found navigating around the site a bit awkward. Here are some suggestions you may want to consider,
- Viewing History: I found myself re-watching a video I had watched before and did not want to watch. It would be nice to have indicator or flag telling that I had viewed the video.
- Play lists: be able to mark the videos I want to watch is a particular order. Or have you create specialized play lists for our viewing.
