As molded by Athearn the windshield are oversized and square at the ends.
There was a company that made an insert to give a more correct looking windshield to the Athearn BB F7. I think it was American Model Builders.or American Ltd.

Variable voltage and variable current meter to box up.
I’ve been back in the cellar for 7 months and I am getting ready to hit the road again. I have a surprise for you all this year. The power supply will be part of the offering’s testing process. It needed a case so this is it in the build stage. If I’m lucky maybe I can show you the finished meter and my offering in person!
To MikeC; my dad passed 7 years ago. He was an experimental machinist / tool and die maker. I still think of him a lot. Especially when I’m at my workbench using the tools he left me. The two dies are dead square and very heavy.
Now I’m doing the exciting part.... watching glue dry!!!
