Buffalo Line Ops
Great operating session last night on the Buffalo Line - Pennsy layout set in the 1950's through to the 1990's.. Here are a few pictures from that session:
1. The "Dark Lord" controlling the "Empire" from his dispatcher's panel.
2. Renovo yardmaster asking dispatch for mainline "headroom" to complete a yard move.
3. Yours truly with an S-4 on the East End.
4. Local freight engineer starting his run.
5. Working the mine on the upper branch.
6. Mine area.
7. Local freight engineer picking up his power at the diesel servicing area.
8 Coal drag headed for Renovo.
9. Coal yard East of Brockton.
10. Helpers drifting down to the holding track.
11. Helpers waiting for an Eastbound to brake on the downhill section of the layout.
12. If you don't wait for helper service. . . . . .

Looks like fun!
That looks like most everyone is having a good time, hard to tell what the " Dark Lord" is thinking.
That seems like a very nice layout, well done scenery and lots of operations options, thank you for sharing!

Train wreck
That session looks like a real train wreck! I think that is the first derailment I've seen modeled.
Looks like a great operating layout. Thanks for the photos.

Great looking layout. Maybe
Great looking layout. Maybe the dispatcher is cold and needs a nice pot-bellied stove to keep him warm.
Nice photos made we wish for
Nice photos made we wish for a video. Poor dispatcher looks like he is right next to the furnace, maybe some coffee would help along with an electric heater. We have pot bellied model railroaders not pot bellied stoves.

Video
There was a video shot by another member of the crew one time - I'll try to find it and post later. Actually veryy warm there; the "Dark Lord" seems to always wear the same thing. Maybe he's related to Darth - LOL!

Track Plan
Really liked the shots and layout. Is there a track plan anywhere?

Sorry
Don't have one as is not my layout - been in operation for a number of yers. Essentially a point-to-point (both decks) with a 3% grade at the bottom of the middle island and ending at the upper level at the other end. Will post a video that may show more of it overall.
